Staging a 1950s ranch to sell

This is an approximately 1300 sq. ft. 1950s ranch that was staged while occupied to sell. This home went from a cluttered and very colorful family home to a light, bright, and airy space just waiting for a new owner. All walls were repainted, all lighting was replaced with modern fixtures that still fit the age and style of the home, all rooms were depersonalized and decluttered, existing art and furniture were curated and rearranged to show functionality and flow for each room. The early 2000s kitchen was brought into the 2020s with modern lighting, art, cabinet hardware, and wall paint. The 1950s bathroom was updated with new lighting and a new vanity. The bonus room in the basement was completely finished during the staging processed to create a “playroom” space. A “pantry” was created in the laundry room. This home is technically a 3 bedroom home, but the third bedroom is more of a sunroom addition off of the dining room. That room was staged as a guest room + office to show its possibilities. Through these updates, plus minor tweaks and rearranging, I was able to show off all of the functionality and potential this beautiful little house offered.
