My very good friend Brooke has 2 seriously amazing daughters. When I visited them last, the girls were kinda rearranging their rooms, and I was checking out their work. I love reusing vintage decor (duh), and love even more when it's given a great makeover. So, Brooke's oldest daughter, Violet, had created a mirror art piece that I totally went gaga over right away. Like, GAGA. She found this very cool old mirror at an estate sale, and got it for 75% off the sale price (nice work, right?) and then added all these faux flowers to it to give it that sweet boho/music festival vibe. Easy to do, but big impact, right? This girl has great taste, and I bet she is going to have a very cool house when she grows up.
Now, if you can't find a vintage mirror to do this with (that would be sad), you can always recreate this look with the UNG DRILL mirror from IKEA, some gold spray paint, and some fake flowers.
If you end up recreating this yourself, please send me pictures! I'd love to see them!
Now, I am totally going to steal this idea....I just need the vintage mirror, cuz that's the only way for me!
