Hi there friends! If you were following along on yesterday's post, you know that today is the big reveal of my friend Brooke's bathroom makeover! Woohoo! This project started last summer and JUST ended a few days ago, so about 8 months of working on it on and off in her extra time. You know...all that extra time that working moms have... And, remember, most of this was done by Brooke herself (while pregnant), but she did get some help from her brother, daughters, fiance, mom, and even her boss. And with only 6 more weeks before the baby comes. That is seriously impressive. She is so VERY happy to just be done with it. I'm exhausted from even imagining doing all this while pregnant.

My best friend Brooke always amazes me with the stuff she does on her own. If you've been following the blog, you may remember Brooke from this post, which was all about how much I love being over at her house, and this post, which was a makeover she did of her front porch. Well, this bathroom renovation is her latest feat (and best so far IMO). Not only is it WAY impressive just in the fact that she did all this herself by looking up how to do things online, but, she did all of this, WHILE PREGNANT. Crazy, right? When I was pregnant (many moons ago), I was basically sitting around eating pizza, watching both Netflix and my ankles swell up like balloons. I sure as heck wasn't demo-ing and tiling and all kinds of other nonsense.

This past weekend, we were in the middle of a total snow storm of snowiness (in the Midwest at least), and it was awesome! I usually hate winter, BUT, since it's been pretty mild this year, I'm not burned out on it. Right now, there are 2 reasons I'm loving all the snow. One, family sledding fun, and two, all this snow is PERFECT for cleaning some rugs!

Okay, so SERIOUSLY. Longest project ever, right? I originally posted the start of this project here last August. WHAT?! Ummmmm....okay, so that's only a year, right? Oy! Well, the bathroom has been mostly done and generally functional for months now, BUT, all the little things that had to happen for me to actually take any pictures of it didn't happen until just the past few weeks. As all you fellow busy moms know, things fall to the wayside and sit around half-done for long periods of time. So, I FINALLY found some time to get some of the little things done that have prevented me from saying I'm DONE DONE DONE with this room. Not like, fancy interior designer done, but done, like, "SEEEEEE YA, bathroom! I'm not doing anything else to you ever again unless another flood comes thru." Now I will just look around and say, oooh, ahhh, pretty! instead of, SIGH....I still need to do this or that (wah! cry-face emoji). So, come, check out my bathroom!
