This is a 20+ year throwback to my absolute FAVORITE band/musician prior to Lana. I'm talking about Garbage, people! You know?! Shirley Manson and all her grunginess! Sigh! Back to the 90s! The best decade IMO. I used to listen to that first (self-titled) Garbage CD over and over and over and over and over and over and over again in high school. And then! One of my other favorite things back then came out, and that's the movie, Romeo and Juliet with Leonardo DiCaprio!
This movie killed me! But that's another topic for another day. And the soundtrack was really good too, especially because Garbage was on there with the song #1 Crush. All their stuff was just as dramatic as life seemed in my head back then, you know what I mean. The teen years, ha! Looking back on it and listening to it now is funny because they're just so dramatic, and I just don't relate anymore (I mean, when you're a teenager, you totally feel like you can relate to this because EVERYthing is just SOOOOOO intense, right?). I still like the songs, but they're totally made for that time period of your life.
